SQL Server 2000 Databases
The advantages of using SQL Server database are:
- Better performance - SQL Server based solutions respond more quickly and
can handle more concurrent visitors.
- Immediate updates - For database design modifications or updates, there is
no need to copy a database file from the web site to your computer and back.
With SQL Server databases updates and design changes are performed online and
are immediately reflected on the web site. This feature can save you the
trouble of writing a management or administration section for your web site.
- Free Text Indexing - Using the free text indexing feature of SQL Server
2000, you can implement a text search through the database that will provide
answers very quickly and efficiently.
SQL Server Pricing: Setup fee: US$ 25, monthly recurring fee: US$ 20 per 10MB
of disk space allocates for the database.

- Credit Cards billing for e-commerce - Web sites that are
hosted at NetHost, can use our credit card billing system - InternetPOS. Costs
are: US$ 350 one time setup fee and US$ 40 monthly recurring fee. Our credit
cards billing system allows you to charge customers online securely. With the
system you can queue charges for a later time, charge customers on a monthly
basis and receive detailed billing reports. It is also possible to use the
InternetPOS (POS - Point Of Sale) with web sites that are not hosted at
NetHost.
- Dynamic DNS name services: Setup: $25, Once a year: $25.
Using this service you can have a domain name for your computer even if you
are using dial-up. You will be able to run a mail server or a web server on
